Ideally located on the western side of Mont Ventoux in Caromb near Carpentras in the Vaucluse, Domaine du Colibri has a vineyard spread over 10 hectares that produces various wines appreciated for their taste and freshness. Anxious to limit the impact of human intervention on nature,

we ensure respect for nature by practising reasoned agriculture and adapting our interventions on the vineyard according to its real needs. This philosophy of reasoned agriculture means that the various players of the Hummingbird Domain are engaged in the protection of soils through specific farming methods, which promote the microbial life of the soils, thus enabling the growth and maintenance of organic matter, the basis of fertile land.

Thanks to its ideal location halfway through the Alps and the Mediterranean and the very favourable and sunny microclimate throughout the year, the vines benefit from both a limestone-majority soil as well as the Mistral which allows for conditions optimal sanitary facilities for growing grapes. In this context, the estate has the pleasure of welcoming you to its cellar, whether you are visiting Caromb, Carpentras or Monteux, come and discover our wines, Champagnes and other local products.

Vineyard near Carpentras

Encircling the village of Caromb, our 6 plots, which total 10 hectares of AOP Ventoux, are composed of half of the Black Grenache followed by 2 hectares of Carignan.

Cinsaut and Syrah complete the panel of red grape varieties. Our hectare and a half of white, exposed South, is composed mostly of Clairette, accompanied by White Grenache and Bourboulenc.
